Frederiksborg Palace is situated on three islets on the
castle lake of Hillerød, north of Copenhagen. The palace
was built in the Dutch Renaissance style by King Christian
IV in the 17th century and is surrounded by the beautiful
Frederiksborg Palace Garden.
